“It’s a Beautiful World!” is my theme. I love to share the beautiful and the fascinating in the world around us. I’ve lived in Kansas nearly my entire life, but have traveled around the world and have visited every state.
I’m a photographer, artist and photographer, specializing in science, nature and historical subjects. I love to photograph people in action, especially doing things I’d never do, such as surfing and rock climbing.
I combine my love of animals and photography by photographing cats available for adoption for a Kansas City animal shelter website. At least 6,000 cats so far!
I studied journalism, photography, history and biology at University of Kansas. I’ve written for many newspapers and magazines and worked in public relations. My art and photographs are in collections around the world. My photography is on display in Images Art Gallery in downtown Overland Park, Kansas. I’ve been featured in art shows, including Arti Gras in Leawood, Kansas; Art at the Center, Overland Park, Kansas; State of the Arts, Prairie Village, Kansas; InterUrban ArtHouse, Overland Park, Kansas; and Visions of the Flint Hills at the Buttonwood Art Space in Kansas City, Missouri.
