Nobody does skies and clouds better than Jerry Brown. In this two-day pastel workshop (Friday and Saturday, April 8-9, 2016) at Images Art Gallery,
Jerry Brown will teach you his techniques for making dramatic clouds and skies. You will gain a wealth of understanding and ideas as Jerry shows you how to bring the skies and landscapes to glowing reality. You will learn how to create those nuances of color and value that add magic and drama to clouds.
With over thirty years as an art instructor there is no one better. This is a “hands-on” workshop. Come prepared to paint and create several pastel paintings with
Jerry’s guidance and encouragement. Whether you are a novice at creating pastel skyscapes and landscapes or have a lifetime of experience you will gain a wealth of insights and ideas as Jerry shows you all the “tricks” of the trade he has mastered through a lifetime of painting.
The workshop will be limited to 12 artists so everyone will receive plenty of personal guidance from Jerry. You need to provide your own pastels, a ground cloth and easel. We have tables if you prefer to work on a table. We will be working from photographs, which you will bring and share with others.
