Photography is a medium unlimited in scope or creativity. My photography covers a wide range of subject matter from the natural world of flora and fauna to the documentary world of people and events. My goal as an “image maker” is to present each subject in a unique manner.
My work is held in both corporate and private collections. Most recently, ten of my images were selected to hang in the new PNC skyscraper in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which was completed in 2015 and is billed as the “greenest skyscraper in the world”.
I frequently participate in local and regional juried art shows and have been fortunate to receive numerous awards. However, the best reward is when a viewer connects emotionally with one of my photographs. Particularly in my travels to foreign lands, I find sharing “images” an instant way to communicate with people regardless of language barriers.
I have been capturing images and creating collectible prints for over 20 years. My journey started in the darkroom with black and white photography from negatives and slides. Currently all my work is digitally captured and processed. Images are printed using techniques and dyes that insure excellent rendition and superior longevity. Any “digital” work on the images is exclusively done by me.
